Currently working on several projects in Africa, MAECI is seeking candidates with experience in Sheet Metal Roofing, Corrugated Iron and Metal Roll Forming, for the role of Plant Manager for a new project in West Africa. The ideal candidate must have all the basic skills and business development experience used to manage a plant size of 30,000 to 60,000 sq feet.
Job Description: This West Africa operation again is a new project with Sheet Metal Roofing, Corrugated Iron and Metal Roll Forming being just the first phase. Great opportunity for a Plant Manager – Manufacturing process engineer, and/or business development/Project management candidate to provide technical engineering management and support to production operations. Requires Bachelor’s degree, BS Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred, or related field with at least 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have expertise with production machinery and equipment for welding, roll forming equipments operations, machining, and fabricating and experience with PLC controls systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Requires proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel computer applications. Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology, statistical software, Lean Manufacturing training and knowledge of roll forming machines operations and painting processes a plus.
